Are you looking for a new challenge and opportunity? Our client, one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Manager to their Calgary team. While working in a challenging and diverse team the successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager and is responsible for the execution of recruitment for parts of Western Canada.
Role and Responsibilities
Provides oversight to the work of internal clients and oversees experienced recruiting activities for regional offices for experienced hires
Work with Senior Managers to develop marketing campaign, branding and career website information and materials
Development of an active pipeline of candidates through a sourcing strategy which considers all facets of potential talent pools
Develop a robust pipeline building for anticipated future needs
Negotiates staffing service level agreements and contracts and manage vendor and agency relationships on a regional level, in accordance with firm standards
Maintains a strong working relationship with Client Service, HR colleagues, RM colleagues and specific industry sector leaders
Short-lists candidates for testing, conducts interviews and finalizes job offers for Manager level (and above) and difficult to hire and/or challenging positions
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 6 years experience, with specific success in experienced hire activity, preferably in a professional services firm in a role that demonstrates steady progression and advancement with increased responsibilities
Proven track record in creatively sourcing and hiring talent
Understanding of the sourcing market and the local market influence on the sourcing of candidates
Effective administrative skills and the ability to operationally deploy all aspects of programs efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
Ability to work and navigate effectively in a matrix organization/partnership structure
Strong leadership skills, impeccable ethical standards and integrity, objectivity, confidence and dedication
